Q: How does it work?
A: Select – Swipe – Enjoy – Return!
Browse through the movies, either on the screen, or through the kiosk display panels. Select the title that you want to rent (or buy). Note the slot number listed on the right side of the DVD slot. Touch the Start button. Enter the movie or game title, or slot number. Select Buy or Rent. Swipe your credit card and take your movie or game. To return a DVD or game, Touch the Return button, and place the DVD or game in the Return slot, with the label facing up, and the arrows pointing toward the kiosk.

Q: When are the movies and games updated?
A: New releases are updated weekly. Contact us if you don’t see a movie or game you would like to buy or rent.

Q: How do I pay for renting a movie or video game?
A: The machine accumulates charges PER NIGHT, PER DVD, plus sales tax. Your credit card or check card is charged when you return the movie.

Q: How many movies or games can I have out at the same time?
A: You can rent up to 3 DVDs at the same time on one credit card, and you may have up to 5 out at one time.

Q: What is the deadline for returns?
A: You have up to 10 days to return your movie. If you do not return your movie or game, the credit card that you rented with will be automatically charged the listed selling price of the DVD or game. The daily deadline is 9:00 pm.

Q: What will happen if I lose the movie or game?
A: If you lose a movie or video game, please contact Customer Service at 210.367.6232. Or e-mail us at info@disksondemand.com. For a lost movie, the credit card that you rented with will automatically be charged the listed selling price on the 10th day the movie is checked out.

Q: What do I do if the DVD or game I rented is scratched and does not play?
A: Please call customer service at 210.367.6232. You will not be charged. If you call after regular business hours, please leave your name and number, and a customer service representative will call you back within 12 hours. Tip: DVDs can stop working if there is dirt or grease on the playing surface. Carefully wipe the dirt or grease from the DVD and it may work again. Your player may also be dirty. If it doesn’t play any movies, it may need to be professionally cleaned.

Q: Is my credit card information safe? What type of security protects my credit card information?
A: We use the most secure method available for transactions and all communications uses 128-byte encryption. Your credit card information is not stored on the kiosk computer system.

Q: Does the Kiosk issue receipts?
A: No, the kiosk does not issue receipts. You can print a receipt from our website at www.disksondemand.com.

Q: What are Promo Codes, and how are they used?
A: A Promo Code is a discount on rental. To use a Promo Code, browse through the movies, select the title you want, Touch the Start Button, enter the Title, and select Buy or Rent. Before you swipe your credit card, you will see an option to enter a Coupon Code (Promo). Touch the Coupon code button, and enter your code. Your coupon will be applied when you return your DVD or game, and the value of the coupon will be removed from your rental total.

Q: I selected the wrong title. What can I do?
A: You have up to 10 minutes to return a movie or game to the kiosk before you will be charged the first day’s rental.
